Pigmento

Via Appia Antica
Rome, Italy

Fall 2021

This adaptive reuse project is located in the Ex Cartiera Antica, an abandoned paper mill. Designed for the Italian fashion company flavialarocca, Pigment is an Eco Fashion Research Center which centers around the process of hand dying natural fabrics with sustainable dyes. The goal of this client is to create a modular and sustainable interior which is cohesive with their own design intent, while also providing enough contrast to emphasize their designs during an exhibition. The themes of this project are modularity, contrast, process, grid, and stain.
